Jack Harrell reads at Idaho Falls B&N

Jack Harrell in a FordJack Harrell, professor of English at BYU-Idaho, will read from his recent collection of short stories at the Idaho Falls Barnes & Noble, Saturday, September 25, at 2:00 pm.

Harrell’s characters often perceive a fourth dimension. They have premonitions, see apparitions, experience visions, and find transcendence in heavy metal music. Some vaquely precieve where they are headed. They act and react, offend and forgive, as if they will live forever. They are sometimes who we wish we were, and occasionally what we wish we were not.

Come and listen to Jack’s stories. The event is open to the public; afterward you can ask Jack about anything or just look around for that perfect book.

If you can’t make it and would like to order a signed copy of A Sense of Order, you can do that by calling Maribeth at Barnes & Nobel (208-552-1463).
