Sometimes things happen—comic, tragic, commonplace, extraordinary, things without explanations. Things Happen charts Emma Lou Thayne’s struggle to make sense of a chaotic and confounding world, and she does so in a way that is perceptive, bold, and tender, but never maudlin.
